Ah, look what came in the mail. My mom is the sweetest and thought my room was a little lonely so she sent me a cute package of mini succulents and cactuses. I have a huge obsession for all kinds of flowers and plants and want my room filled with them.
The weather has been cold and rainy for the past week but I'm so glad the sun decided to come out today. I spent my entire Saturday by myself, venturing and getting lost in the beautiful streets of my neighborhood to East Village. It was much needed since I've been feeling very overwhelmed with everything from the move and even with the city. As much as I love it here, I do need some time to get comfortable and figure out how to relax more in this constant hustle and bustle. I'm thankful for living in a neighborhood that isn't too crazy like the rest though. Once the depressing weather stops and when I finally discover a place that brews a good cup of coffee, I'm sure my culture shock blues will go away.

DeleteThat is so cute! During early fall and late spring, a florist comes to our school and sets up a little stand. I FINALLY bought a few mini cacti and succulents from him in March.
